Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an Autonomous Body, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, provides education for wards of the DAE employees upto junior college level. Atomic Energy Central Schools and Junior Colleges are spread all over the country and are affiliated to CBSE and other State Boards. AEES has 31 Schools/Junior colleges at fourteen different centres with 27287 students and 1165 teaching and 275 non-teaching staff. The student-teacher ratio in AEES is approximately 20:1.

AECS Anupuram

Atomic Energy Central School, Anupuram, under Atomic Energy Education Society(AEES) is situated at the prime location of Anupuram Township.It is a developing school. It has been growing in leaps and bounds. The school was established in June 2000. There were only 6 students and 2 staff members in the beginning of the academic year.

Then in the academic year 2001-2002 it was upgraded to V standard. The strength of the school had risen to 157. There were 9 teachers and one group-D in that academic year. Now the strength is increased to 1542 in students 50 in staff.
